Beyond Neurodiversity
Beyond Neurodiversity was founded with the vision of expanding public understanding, acceptance, and celebration of neurodiversity – whether someone is neurodiverse or neurotypical. We believe that every individual brings unique strengths and needs to the table – and both should be celebrated and accommodated.
Our mission is to help organizations create welcoming and inclusive spaces for the neurodivergent community while building bridges for understanding, acceptance, and support of all individuals – regardless of their neurodiverse status.
Through coaching, training, and resource development, Beyond Neurodiversity creates environments where productivity is maximized based on employee needs, turnover decreases, and where engagement, productivity, and tenure of employees increases.
At the end of the day, we help organizations create spaces where neurodiverse and neurotypical employees are valued, celebrated, and accommodated in ways that allow them to thrive.
About Our Founder
Samantha (Sammie) Kelly serves as Beyond Neurodiversity’s Advocate, Coach, and Founder, and understands the unique challenges that come with being neurodiverse in an environment built around neurotypical expectations.
With experience in HR consulting, recruitment, and marketing, Sammie brings her unique combination to bear for employers and employees alike.
Diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) with an Inattentive Presentation in her late twenties, Sammie found herself experiencing a complete upheaval of what she thought she knew about how she moved through life.
As more information came to light about her own experiences and challenges, she began to find more individuals like her who were on their own journey of discovering their neurodiversity, their potential diagnoses, and coming to grips with the needs that had gone unmet for most of their lives.
Faced with the opportunity to bring her unique experiences of neurodiversity, public speaking and training, and consulting experience to the table, Beyond Neurodiversity was born.
